I work as an actor in both film and theatre. Most of my recent experience is in film, but I have a strong background in theatre and enjoy moving between screen and stage.

I'm drawn to roles that are emotionally rich, whether that's intense drama or sharp, authentic humour. I'm a distinctive presence and not afraid to use it for laughter, vulnerability, contrast, or tension. The characters I like to explore fully are those with depth, contradiction and unpredictability.

My approach is grounded and intuitive with a healthy amount of self-mockery. I focus on timing, physicality and the small, unspoken moments that make the characters feel alive.

Furthermore, developing my own film projects has also shaped how I approach roles. I always see myself as more than an actor. I'm part of living and breathing piece of art that requires a lot of effort, a strong team and endless devotion to complete. This is not a very Dutch thing to say I realize, but I do see acting (whether it be film or theatre) as much as an act of art as painting and sculpting.
